    Please introduce your self.

Post  Admin on Tue May 08, 2012 3:24 pm

This thread is for everyone to become aquainted. Very Happy There will be no debate of any kind on this particular forum as it is to be used for our submissions of our death experiences as well as becoming friends. Please start a thread for each submission. I will put my death experience up shortly.

I suppose that I should go first (gulp) and introduce myself; My name is Cloe Solis and I am your friendly admin.. My objective on this forum is to establish a place for those of us that have died, yes, died as in dead. We know that we died and no one out there can take that away, so we or I should say, those of us here, welcome open dialogue and debate on the other forums. In fact, we look forward to anything you or we can throw at us. However, here, our experiences are not to be subjected to any form of ridicule or defamations.

Now, yeah, to get on with this; I'm originally from Hawaii, where I had my death experience at the North Shore of Oahu while body surfing. Eventually we moved to a little town called "Pahoa" which means "dagger" in English. One of those towns that you pass if you blink.

    I'll continue later,..

    Hi Chloe!

My name is David and I live in England, I was originally born in south London but now live 80 miles north of London kinda near Cambridge. You may or may not remember me from the nderf and/or the near death forum. I went under the user bigdman(uk).

I found this site through Lucas's forum where although I was not a member I would read through posts.

I was very sorry to hear of Lucas's passing and although I didn't interact with him very much I remember reading many of his posts/responses to others on near death forums and he came across as a well balanced nice guy.

I suppose my aim on here mainly is to discuss conciousness and its purpose. I would like to (as long as its okay with you) to start up a Youtube corner for conciousness related videos for them to be discussed. One person I feel who has invaluable insights into conciousness is Peter Russell and he has many videos which can be discussed. I feel a lot can be learned from all NDE'ers and want learn about what you think your experience was all about and what you think it all (in general) is all about?

    All the best, DUK.

    Welcome DUK! Very Happy

I signed in to attempt at figuring out how to get the links to work. You may notice that they work as long as you're signed in, but once we sign out, we have to copy and paste. I can't seem to find where the problem is, and perhaps the other mods have more knowledge in that regard.

I hope that you find this board to be open to almost anything, so please feel free to link it to youtube. That sounds like a great suggestion!

As far as me knowing what's going on,..I've been trying to find those answers since my death through varied means. Been searching for well over forty years. I feel that if we begin to take this experience seriously, we'll be able to find those answers,.. and it is imperative that we do, as our survival as a species may count on it.

It keeps telling me that I need to be a member for at least 7 days before I post links, so I guess I can wait a week! lol

I totally agree Chloe, I think the major problem we face today is that most people (including myself) become extremely complacent within life, the personal bubble as I would like to call it. The idea of death and talking about death (I find especially in the UK as we are not as religious as the US on the whole) is avoided at all costs.

Hmm, maybe that's a spambot protection measure of the company that sponsors this site. Ok, seven days it is, and then if we still have problems, I'll write to the company.

It's a shame that death isn't considered extensively through science. Certainly we attempt its avoidance as in the decay process through science.

But there is so much more to consider. Such as do we actually consider the possibility that free will is foundational to chaos? Do we consider the transferences of self as apparitions would suggest? Or do we even consider the technologies involved in regard to information transfers? In example, in the U.K. there are many witnessed events of apparitions. Rooms are reported to go cold during some of these events. How is heat being removed and why? Is it a required source of energy? How do these events go through walls? Photons only partially tunnel and certainly can't yet act in such manner. These should be seen by scientists as most important to discover,.. but the answers are shielded by superstitions and fear, imo.
