How did the interview with Doctor Persinger turn out?

Thought I'd make this public, so others could enjoy.

It was great to finally meet you in the flesh after all these years!
Such a down to earth guy...right off he said "Please call me Mike"!
I didn't get to see him much as the film crew was being quite annoying....
I think the guy is a genius...been following some of his experiencnts, especially on telepathy...and they are cutting edge stuff....he sure in a contiversial figure...so much so...when we were in Louisanna with Dr. Jeff...Dr. Jeff refused to even mention Persinger's name on film and was making no comment about his experinemts...!...LOL....
Anyhoo...on to the "God Helmet"
It was fascinating...they put you in a sealed room...no light, no sound....you wear this helmet with all these electrodes (17 I think)...and then they create an EM field....
The experiment was in 2 parts...45 minnutes each...first the "light up" the right side, then the left side.
I had to fill out a 200 question questionaire before we got started, then they buckled me in and sealed the chamber.
The first part wass nice, went into alpha state right away (I can do this because I meditate...and to his suprise figured out I can control it too...hehe...The 45 minnutes went extremely fast...almost like 3 minnutes...tops....Thesensation was wonderful...felt like I was in a "void"...pure peace...few light fragmants...but no visions....no Jesus...no aliens....
After the first 45 Persinger came in and I had to fill out an experience questionaire...did I see anything...smell...taste...etc....well thought out IMO.
Then, they switched the eloectrodes and he lit up my left side of the brain....instant headache....not painfulk...but very unconfortable....mind over matter....but throughout the nexy 45 minnutes I could feel every adjustment they were making...tick tick tick...tick ticxk in another area...could smell burnt toast!...lol....
No apperatons...nothing...the psychic headache stopped me from slipping through....damn....couldn't relax......disappointing....
I shared that, and Persinger showed me my eeg...sais my hypocampus (way to go Al) clearly shows hallmark qualities that are shared with other NDE'rs...he points to another part of the graph and asks whether I can OBE at will...I laugh...he sais you have the ability according to this, just need the brain to connect the dots....yikes!........He shows me my alpha waves off the chart during the second session...asks a lot of questions about what I experienced...I say nada....massive headache keeps my mind pre-occupied...he offers to bring me back to use another style helmet..."If I dare"...says it will blow my mind...I can hardy wait!
seeing him again...this time without the agravating film crew demanding my time...and has promised to talk more in depth to me then...
The whole thing was amazing experience...can hardly wit for round 2!
oh almost forgot...I told Persinger about the turbo prop plane..and that I didn't sleep a wink because of that damn half hour flight...Persinger looks at me funny for a second then bursts out laughing...I am amused...he sais while turbo prop planes do indeed produce em fields....the reason for my sleepless night was because Sudbury and all northern Ontario had a Class 6 solar flare that night.....people that are "sensitive" would have been up all night....tis amazing to find out how profound impact these solar flares have on the brain!
Gawd...I felt silly for bringing up the prop business..he was enthralled that I had the reaction to the solar flare I did...
I get the results of the test in a week...will post all to see...

My first question for Doctor Persinger is "When did you die?".

His "no more secrets" concept seems very familiar. I'd guess that most of us that have died, know that would be bringing home here.

These individual bodies serve their purpose.

Its amazing how much stick Doctor Persinger gets on youtube from materialists and religious nuts!

In his earlier videos he comes across as if he is suggesting these states are illusionary.

So my question to Dave T is, did he come across as if he felt these states he was inducing on you were purely illusionary? It doesn't sound like it from what you've initially stated.

These states could in fact be illusionary, and that's why it's imperative that we seek validations of some sort.

We're continually aquiring baggage, lots of it. That baggage appears to be basically what determines our initial death experiences. In example that young Christian child (can't recall his name) that happens to be the popular nde flavor lately. He went to "heaven" and met "god". I'd guess that he met the Christian version...or the baggage that his parent's placed upon him. How else was he able to interpret it as being "heaven" and "god"? His parent's gave him his scenario...and now that religion is using him as their endorser. That's the illusion of this experience. When we use our baggage to manifest, which imo is unfortunate.
